Department of Applied Linguistics
In autumn 2019, Department of Applied Linguistics commenced work on vocational programmes integrating realistic scenarios and reflecting the demands of professional practice. Thanks to the state-of-the-art interpreting facility laboratory we will be able to develop our students’ conference interpreting skills, as well as conduct research on translation activities and requirements. By studying the behaviour of an interpreter during interpreting process, we will be better prepared to enhance positive reactions and eliminate interpretative lapses so as to educate and help students become first-class professionals.
