The scope of study offered at the Faculty of Organization and Management includes:

Administration
One of the most popular fields of study among the students of our Faculty. Graduates are prepared to work in different kinds of private and public organizations (i.e. as managers, officials and clerks in government and local administration, functionaries in public services, specialists in private and state companies). There are two areas of specialization available at undergraduate studies: public administration and local government.
Students can obtain a bachelor degree after three years (six semester studies).
Studies are conducted only in Polish.
Logistics
Second most popular field of study on our Faculty. Graduates of this major receive interdisciplinary education and become professional logisticians. Students can contribute to the development of management science in the area of logistics. This objective is assigned to the implementation of innovative teaching programs and research conducted at the Institute of Management, Administration and Logistics.

Students can obtain engineer degree after three and a half years (seven semester studies) and then master degree after one and a half year of study (three semester studies).
Management
The oldest field of study, conducted before the formal establishment of the Faculty of Organization and Management. Graduates are prepared to work in different types of organizations as middle-level managers, analysts, consultants and experts or run their own businesses.

Sociology
Another very popular field of study. Its main objective is education of specialists in the field of social relations in macro and micro scale. Graduates can find employment as:

Specializations available at the undergraduate level:
Market Research and Advertising
This specialization prepares graduates to independently design and conduct social research. They gain the ability to create and develop research projects, as well as to describe social phenomena, particularly in the field of economy. Graduates gain practical skills corresponding to current needs of labour market.
Sociology of Industrial Regions
Choosing this specialization will provide graduates with knowledge about general humanistic education, specifics of industrial regions and their social processes. Graduates gain the ability to analyse ongoing social transformations and forecast their direction. Moreover, they will be able to anticipate the consequences of these transformations for industrial regions and local community, as well as to conduct research on changes in labour market. They will also gain necessary practical skills corresponding to current needs of labour market.
Sociology of Business and Media
This specialization will enable graduates to obtain integrated knowledge of sociology and management, which will increase their competitiveness on contemporary labour market. They will acquire knowledge of, among others, sociology of organizations, human resource management and social communication. Graduates obtain necessary competencies in the work of managers.
Specializations of the secondary education – Master degree:
Social Communication and PR
This specialization allows graduates to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various areas, such as interpersonal, organizational and media communication. In addition, it gives graduates the ability to use appropriate communication strategies, plan an information campaign, as well as to analyse and interpret media messages. They gain practical skills corresponding to current needs of the labour market.
Sociology of Local Communities
Graduates of this specialization gain knowledge from the field of social sciences, local communities and their social processes. It gives graduates the ability to analyse global processes and their effects on local communities, as well as contemporary problems and challenges of multiculturalism. They will gain practical skills to find employment as, for example, social workers, counsellors in the design of solutions to local social problems, or specialists in the field of public opinion research.
Sociology of the Internet and Virtual Communities
Choosing this specialization allows graduates to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of social development of society in the Internet era, new media, social networking sites for analysis of social change, use of new media in communication with customers, residents, etc., as well as the analysis of e-market. This major will also provide them with practical skills corresponding to current needs of the labour market.
Management and Production Engineering
This field of study is interdisciplinary and combines knowledge of technical issues with economic, legal and broadly understood social problems. Graduates are experts capable of solving problems in terms of maintenance of technical facilities, reduction of environmental hazards, formation of a virtual working environment, quality and safety of industrial processes.
According to the Bologna regulations, graduates receive a degree of Bachelor of Science or Master of Science both on full-time, as well as part-time study programs.

Business analytics (BSc)
It is a new field of study offered at the Faculty of Organization and Management. It combines knowledge of modern methods of quantitative analysis (statistical inference and modelling, optimization methods, data mining algorithms), ability to use specialized software (for analysing big data and conducting simulations of processes and economic phenomena) with practical knowledge of management, economics, finance and accounting. During the course students learn how to acquire, select and process key data and information, use Business Intelligence tools to increase competitiveness of the company, explore business processes, analyse economic and financial data and assess the risk associated with business operations. The program prepares students to work in departments responsible for information management, IT departments of enterprises and public institutions, corporations providing business advisory services and financial institutions (banks, insurers, investment funds, stock market).

Project management (BSc)
A new field of study offered at the Faculty of Organization and Management focuses on training specialists in project management, prepared to perform different functions in project teams and to work as managers of such teams. During the course of study, students will obtain knowledge and skills necessary to work effectively in a team project, in particular the basic tools, methods and techniques of project management; organization of projects’ implementation, control and management change; use of computer tools to analyse, evaluate and plan project; creation, supervision and cooperation in project team; performing the function of project manager and responsible decision-making. Acquired knowledge, skills and competences enable graduates to join the IPMA-A exam and/or IPMA Level D and the PRINCE2 Foundation, as well as to continue education at second stage of study.

Project management (MSc)
The objective of postgraduate Project Management studies is to train personnel specialized in efficient and effective project management. The approach to education process in this area of study is based on the belief that development and success of the organization depends on the implementation of different projects, involving human, material and financial resources. Graduates gain skills in efficient organization of processes in accordance with project standards, enabling them to take the IPMA-A exam and/or IPMA Level D and PRINCE2 Foundation. In particular, they learn how to work and manage the project at every stage, use appropriate tools, methods and techniques of project management, depending on the characteristics of a given project. Students are also taught how to perform, coordinate and supervise activities related to implementation of the project, they learn about waterfall and agile standards of project management and their application in context of a specific type of projects; record keeping, using information technology tools; organization and control of project execution, management change and risk management in a project; coping with emergency situations; identification and estimation of required resources; team management, communication and conflict resolution.
Studies are conducted in Polish, with one exception:
