Editorial and Publishing Terms of The Journal Biuletyn
The Journal Biuletyn of Polish Society for Geometry and Engineering Graphics

1.

The Journal Biuletyn Polish Society for Geometry and Engineering Graphics is published once or twice a year by the Polish Society for Geometry and Engineering Graphics.

2.

The scope of the Journal covers a wide range of scientific specialties within geometry and engineering graphics, and in particular its aims are to deal with the problems relating to: the place and the role geometry has in contemporary science and technique; computer science applications into solving classical geometry problems; visualization of geometrical transformations and mappings; geometrical aspects of CAD systems; computer aided education of typical geometry and graphics courses; applications of geometry in techniques; modeling of educational systems and creating new syllabuses of geometry in relation to the specialties at engineering studies; educational means and methods applied within engineering studies.

In the first place the Associate Editors are responsible for compatibility of the paper with the aims and the scope of the Journal while the Editor-in Chief holds the superseding and the decisive word.

The manuscripts are welcome to be sent in an electronic Word (*.doc or *docx) format. Wordtemplates and Style Guidelines are available on the Journal webpage: http://ogigi.polsl.pl/biuletyny/zeszyt_18/Instructions.pdf

Manuscripts submitted for publication are accepted both in Polish and English . The manuscript submitted in Polish and accepted for publication must be translated into English. Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text; acknowledgments; appendices (as appropriate); references. Additionally, there must be added both the Summary and the Title in Polish at the end of the manuscript. Exceptionally, the paper can be printed in two language versions - : Polish and English.

In order to prevent the cases of unoriginal submissions or providing misinformation about the Guest authorship1 or Ghostwriting2 specific procedures will be used to check for originality of publication. The authors will be required to submitto the Editor a statementon the contribution of the individual authors.

Indispensible condition to receive the acceptance for publication is that the paper receives two clearly positive reviews from two independent referees who are NOT employed at the same unit/university as the author of the reviewed manuscript. The Associate Editors choose the potential referees from the group of scientists with a specific specialty and it is the Editor-in-Chief responsibility to appoint two of them as the reviewers.

Applications of Statistics are reviewed by the Associate Editor responsible for Statistics.

The final decision of the paper’s publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

10.

The condition forgetting the paper published is that the author provides the Editorial Board with the signed declaration of a copyright of the text, tables, and figures and of all the materials that have been submitted for publication. https://www.polsl.pl/Jednostki/RJM4/Biuletyn/Strony/STATEMENT-2015.pdf

The authors are required to secure permission to reproduce any proprietary text, illustration, table, or any other materials that are declared as copyright and to pay the costs of reproduction if necessary. It is required that the authors provide source reference to the citations used it their publications.

12.

Editor-in-Chief may take a decision concerning publication of the submitted to the Board of Editors external reviews/comments and/or discussions about any paper published in the Journal. The Journal can also publish the book reviews, conference reports, information on the activities of the Polish Society for Geometry and Engineering Graphics and information about its members.

13.

Full versions of all of the published papers together with the Polish Summary will be included in the Journal homepage (http://ogigi.polsl.pl/biuletyny/biuletyny_ptgigi/biuletyny.aspx)
